The rack fits tires as wide as 2.7 inches.
The rack is equipped with an oversized quick-release lever that makes it easy to load and secure your bike every time. Once loaded, the anodized aluminum tray stores the bike's back wheel in the tire holder (which fits tires as wide as 2.7 inches) while holding the front fork in place. The rack is secure, tough, and simple to install, with a design that fits square, round, and most factory crossbars. Compatible with disc brakes, the fork-mount rack even comes with a key and locking system, so you can keep your bike safe on long road trips while you're in a store or restaurant.

5.0 out of 5 stars Built well and works as intended, August 6, 2011

I bought 2 of these after after researching all of the other roof rack bike carriers out there. I wanted something that would attach to my factory roof racks on my 2006 Toyota Tacoma. I didn't want the whole other set of racks needed to mount the other types of carriers, and these racks include locks. The other brands require purchasing locks.

The only problem I ran into was, the bike racks were to short for my roof rack. I had to remove the rear plactic trim and slide the bracket partially out of the extruded aluminum trough. I have plans to lengthen the extruded aluminum portion.

The racks worked great even though they didn't fit exactly. I carried my bikes from Pittsburgh PA to Ocean City MD without any problems.

We bought this rack as our 2nd set for our Land Rover LR3 with factory crossbars. Our first one is a hitch mount and we can't use it when we are towing PLUS I want to be able to easily install on my other car's Thule crossbars.

Pros:
- excellent fit on a variety of bikes/forks. Four fork types, four secure bikes.
- mount clips are metal so the racks are on the crossbars tight and sturdy
- locks are included. One lock secures rack to car and bike to rack--brilliant! Also, all 4 racks were keyed identical right out of the box so 1key fits all 4. Don't know if this was a lucky coincidence or a manufacturer oversight (are ALL racks in the same model keyed the same?)
- no noticeable whistling/rack noise without a fairing

Cons:
- installation takes a while--mostly due to the front mount fit configuration.

Overall, this is a high quality and great functioning roof mount rack. It is highly versatile and accomodates all types of... Read more

My Yakima rack will hold all sorts of stuff - like skis, kayaks, bikes, etc. It is very sturdy and will carry a heavy load but it is rather cumbersome and unsightly. Plus the bars make a lot of wind noise. I needed a rack for just one bike that would not required mounting the towers and bars each and every time I wanted to haul my bike. The Inno is ideal as it mounts directly on the factory bars and does not cause any noticable wind noise. It is very easy to use, very sturdily built and with the including locking mechanism, I can leave it in place at all times.
