This review is from: Yakima RailGrab Tower (Misc.)
I went from a Thule system on a 2003 Town and Country factory rack to a Yakima system on 2009 Sienna factory rack and the Thule system was just better. It's worth noting that I am not comparing it to a Thule system that would work on my Sienna.

With the Thule the small foot pads were permanently attached so clicking the towers in place took only seconds. With the Railgrab it takes a step ladder, lots of adjustment and still I worry if the Railgrab claw is making that all important 3 point contact.

At highway speeds the Yakima bars make more noise than the Thule bars. The square Thule bars accept inexpensive after market kayak saddles while the round Yakimas are more limited and force you to buy their more expensive saddles. The effort to make a universal tower that fits most factory racks is where the problem lies. The older Thule towers and tiny permanent foot pads were a more custom approach and less of a "one-size-fits all" design.
