Delivery: We received the shed in record time! We even got to schedule the delivery based on our preferred date and time (through a local freight service). Very convenient!2.) Assembly: We were dreading the project thinking it would take hours or days for my husband (who is not an engineer) and I (7 months pregnant)to figure it out and put it together. To our surprise, it wasn't bad at all! We had a couple of frustrating moments (trying to decipher the picture in the manual), but overall the assembly was very straight-forward and simple (didn't even use a power drill, though you can if you want of course). Total time it took to assemble: Approx. 4 Hours (remember: non-engineer & pregnant lady). 3.) Result: A roomy and solid shed, a great value, and two satisfied customers! Note: We did our research, and for the price, this was by far the best value for a shed of this size! 6 of 6 people found the following review helpful This review is from: Arrow Shed BW54-A Brentwood 5-Feet by 4-Feet Steel Storage Shed (Lawn & Patio) After my purchase, the shed arrived in Arizona the next day (freight shipped from CA). Yes.. the instructions could be written a little better, but overall, not a bad project!! They even put a ton of extra screws/bolts....It did take a few hours (6 maybe) over two days, so don't expect to put it up superfast. Most of the time is spent putting all the screws in, but that makes it fairly solid...(for a sheetmetal shed) Just make sure your surface is level. It helps line up the holes...You will need an extra set of hands initially to get the basic frame together, but once that's done it's pretty much a one person job... *The shed is not actually 4x5 it's more like 3.50 x 4.50* Don't be scared....It's not that bad!! By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Arrow Shed BW54-A Brentwood 5-Feet by 4-Feet Steel Storage Shed (Lawn & Patio) I generally dont write a review, and I probably should write more, but I bought this shed after reading the few reviews that were here. Time to assemble, yes it will take a few hours. The issues I found with the shed were that several of the panels were bent on the ends. Not sure if this was an issue in shipping, but i had to straighten out those bends as much as I could. Better packing might help if this were a shipping issue. It actually was not too bad to put together, but alot of the holes did not line up for me, even on the panels that were not bend, so there was a bit of a struggle to get it all together . Would have gone MUCH faster if the holes had lines up. I still have a few that will need to be redrilled because they did not line up. All in all, great shed for the money, good size, you will need a floor, and there are several options for that. For the most part the price was better than most that I found on the internet, but after I purchased it, I did find one... Read more |
