CHAPTER 1 DELIVERY It is incredible how they pack it all in such a small box. The 1st time this thing came, their shipper played phone tag with me for a long while, my getting voice mail & no returned call for a time. I was not all that diligent in communicating with the shipper, thinking that the shipment would be routine, just like with UPS or Fed Ex. It seems like the shipper for some days lost track of where the package was! Eventually I scheduled a delivery, but the shipper did not show up & sent it back apparently alleging my address did not exist! The customer service was not sympathetic, but spoke as if my address did not exist at one point, as if defending the shipper. The girl spoke as if they would require me to go and pick up the shed box myself at some depot if they... Read more 2 of 2 people found the following review helpful Not as easy as they say, Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Sentry Shed 8' x 9' I'm a do-it-yourself person and this was not the easiest thing to put together. It took my daughter and I four days of re-doing some parts and much frustration.The instruction diagrams are NOT easy to follow. The panels do not stay "snapped" together. I had to add screws down all the corner panels so the wind and rain does not get in. I had my contractor put in the plywood floor. He first screwed the metal floor frame together so it does not come apart under the plywood. Then he screwed the plywood onto the frame. It will work for storing the stuff I need, but I would not buy this type again. It's rather flimsy for a metal shed. |
